"CHANGE OF MIND" RETURNS POLICY

Mega Pet Warehouse will offer a credit note or exchange for items purchased from Mega Pet Warehouse and returned within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is returned with an original receipt or acceptable proof of purchase, and meets the following criteria when returned:

The item is in saleable condition;

The item is unworn, unused or unopened with all original packaging and tags attached;

The item is not faulty or subject to manufacturers' warranties;

The item is not a personalised product (i.e. shampoo, sprays, flea or worming treatments etc)

The item is not a consumable (i.e. fresh meat, treats, seed etc.)

Some items purchased will come with a manufacturer's warranty as indicated in the documentation provided with the relevant products. To expedite the claim process, you may wish to contact the relevant manufacturer directly.

Premium dog and cat foods are exempt from this policy, as they all come with a 100% money-back guarantee from the manufacturer which is dealt with by us.


LAY-BY TERMS & CONDITIONS

Minimum Value - Lay-by is available on purchases of $100.00 or more

Deposit - A minimum 10% deposit is required for each new lay-by.

Term - Lay-By is available on a 10 week term and must be paid in full and collected by the end of this period.

Cancellation - Lay-bys may be cancalled at any time during the term, however a $20.00 cancellation fee will apply. Failure to collect lay-bys by the due date will be treated as a cancellation of the lay-by by the customer. In this instance, the customer will be entitled to a refund of the monies paid, less a termination fee of $20.00.


MEGA REWARDS

The Promoter and Owner of the Mega Rewards and Mega Frequent Buyer programs is Mega Pet Warehouse Pty Ltd (ACN: 055133107).

Definitions:

The Promoter” means Mega Pet Warehouse Pty. Ltd. (ACN: 055133107)

“Member” means a person who is enrolled in the Mega Rewards program

“Card” means the card issued by The Promoter to a Mega Rewards Member, at that person’s request, for use in the Mega Rewards program.

“Program” means the program called Mega Rewards pursuant to which certain points are offered or made available to a Member as a result of the purchase of products or services from Mega Pet Warehouse stores.


Terms and Conditions

Membership to the Program is subject to these Terms and Conditions as amended from time to time.

These Terms and Conditions may be amended or varied at any time by the Promoter at its absolute discretion, without giving reason or notice.

By completing the Program application form, the Member agrees to be bound to these Terms and Conditions.

Any failure by a Member to adhere to these Terms and Conditions may result in termination of that Member’s enrolment in the Program and cancellation of accrued points.

Membership to the Program is offered at the discretion of the Promoter. The Promoter has the right to accept or reject any application for membership at any time, without giving reason and without giving notice.

Membership to the Program is not available to existing Level A customers.

The Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to communicate with a Member to advise them of various matters of interest including changes to the Program. The Promoter will not be liable for failure to do so. The Promoter will not be responsible for correspondence lost or delayed in the mail, via email or SMS. Any notice will be deemed to have been given by the Promoter if posted, via mail or email, to the address/es last notified by the Member to the Promoter.

Each Member is responsible for advising the Promoter of any change of address, email address, mobile phone number or other personal contact detail as soon as possible.

Notwithstanding the above, the Promoter may inform, advise or notify a Member by any form of communication available.

The Promoter may terminate the Program at any time. In the event of termination of the Program, or cancellation of a Member’s card or cancellation of a Member’s membership to the Program, the Promoter will notify Members of such termination or cancellation. All accrued points and available Frequent Buyer free items must be redeemed within one (1) month of the date of termination or cancellation. In the event of termination or cancellation of a Member’s card by the Member, all accrued points and available Frequent Buyer free items will be forfeited.

The Promoter will not be liable for any disruption to the Program or any delay to or inability to provide any of the points caused by circumstances beyond the control of the Promoter, including but not limited to strikes or industrial action, acts of God, flood, weather, war or civil disturbance.

Only natural persons can apply for a Mega Rewards card. Cards cannot be held jointly. Member participation in the Program will be resolved by the Promoter in its sole discretion.

A person wishing to apply for a Mega Rewards card must complete the application form and submit it at any Mega Pet Warehouse store.

A Mega Rewards Member may hold only one Card. Mega Rewards Cards cannot be used as a credit or guarantee card.

The Promoter is not responsible for lost or stolen Cards, unredeemed Mega Rewards points or unredeemed Frequent Buyer free items.

All Cards remain the property of The Promoter.

The Promoter is not responsible for errors resulting from computer hardware or software errors or failures, or fraud.

Any alleged discrepancy in relation to earned points or Frequent Buyer purchases must be notified in writing by a Member to the Promoter, together with a legible copy of any relevant record of purchases (eg. tax invoice).

The Promoter will endeavour to investigate such discrepancies but reserves the right to be the final arbiter in the event of any dispute. In case of dispute, the decision of the Promoter will be final and binding.

The Promoter further reserves the right to adjust a Member’s points balance or Frequent Buyer balance retrospectively in the event of incorrect entries whether due to the Promoter’s error or otherwise.

All questions or disputes regarding the eligibility for the Programs or eligibility of points for accrual or redemption, or any other dispute which arises in connection with a Member’s participation in the Program will be resolved by The Promoter in its sole discretion.


Mega Rewards

Points will only be accrued on participating products, brands and suppliers.

Points can only be collected at a Mega Pet Warehouse store. Points are non-transferrable and have no cash or monetary value. Unredeemed points will expire 365 days from the date they  were collected.

For the purpose of calculating the value of individual purchases, Mega Rewards points are displayed based on whole dollars paid inclusive of GST, subject to a valid Card being presented at the time of purchase.

To earn points on a transaction, the Card must be presented at the register at the time of purchase. If a Member’s Card is not presented, the Promoter may be unable to add points retrospectively.

A Member will be awarded one point for every dollar spent at any Mega Pet Warehouse store on participating products, brands and suppliers.

For every 500 points a Member accumulates, a Member will be given a $10.00 voucher that can be used in a future purchase equal to or greater than the voucher value. The full voucher value must be applied in one transaction. The voucher must be used within 90 days. The voucher is not redeemable for cash or currency.

Mega Rewards points are not transferrable and are not redeemable for cash or currency.

When a Member obtains a refund or reimbursement for charges previously incurred (for example, returned goods) the points previously accrued for that purchase will be cancelled.

 

Mega Frequent Buyer

Mega Rewards Members are also eligible to participate in any current Mega Frequent Buyer program.


When a Member purchases 10 qualifying items of the same brand and size from participating brands, the Member will receive the 11th item free on their next purchase.

To earn the free item, the Card must be presented at the register at the time of purchase. If a Member’s card is not presented, the Promoter may be unable to add purchases retrospectively.

When a Member obtains a refund or reimbursement for qualifying items (for example, returned goods), the Frequent Buyer purchase previously accured will be cancelled.
